I spent the last 5 days at APSCON (Australian Photographic Society Convention) at Tweed Heads listening to interesting presentations about varied photographic topics and practicing the art in the process (I like yellow and blue…)

after some distractions such as the installation of a solar battery system for our house, a whale watching trip to Fraser Island and some rather challenging events at BayFM, here are finally the first whale photos from Fraser. Always exciting!

I have redone all my galleries on this website, entered new photos, redesigned the display of the individual galleries and added a couple of projects – my favourites and “phonographers”, a series inspired by my visit to Paris. This picture just won the second prize in the photography section at the Ocean Shores Art Expo with the topic: Wild Things: “Be careful of reflective surfaces! They might just turn you into a MONSTER with help of the photographer! These monstersa were shot at the Museum Fuer Moderne Kunst in Frankfurt.”
