and some more fire pics (I have to go out more and produce something else…) this is how nature has adapted to fire – seedpods only open after intense heat new growth comes up quickly but the area looks devastated
something controversial for the last post in 2013 nice beach but it looks so much better when the eye is kept in the picture. Now, are you allowed to do that with landscapes?
black & white is fabulous, particularly with Nik Silver-effects but not every photo lends itself to b&w this one has lost quite a bit of its power and sometimes it is good to have that little bit of colour even if the picture is virtually monochrome
