Iserlohn – photos of a small city in west Germany by an Australian ex-patriate. The town where I was born, where my parents live, that I left when I was 15, where I went to school. The town that had little to offer for a teenager, that was destroyed by architects and modernisation, that slowly tries to find itself again, that has renovated what is left of the old, and that doesn’t quite know where it stands culturally. A small place in middle-Germany, Westfalia.
