After the south coast the bike-trip went very quickly and without a lot of photo stops through the Victorian Alps to the sunken Tallangatta on the Murray and back through the Snowy Mountains
avoiding yet another big city – Melbourne – we took the ferry from Queenscliff to Sorrento which provided an unusual view of the beast extremely windy south coast beach of Sorrento
finally the Great Ocean Road excellent colours but it came with extreme winds and rain
back to the south coast Portland woodchip harbour towards the Great Ocean Road with lots of wind and therefore windfarms
Expect more SQUARE pics because a Fujifilm x100s has joined my Nikon D600 to generate beautiful, square pictures
Driving along the Coorong with beautiful views of water and dunes reminded me of northern Germany

to be on the road in outback Australia is quite simply fascinating

We’re getting ready. On monday Elmar and myself are going on a big bike-tripĀ to Alice Springs then on to Adelaide, Great Ocean Road, Snowy Mountains and back to Byron Bay. I am taking the camera, but the blog will be dormant for the month of september.
