a stroll through the city produced a few insights and reflections again it is very difficult to photograph a scene without people on their iDevice an oasis in the concrete desert architecture and reflections are one
and some more pics from the Ken Ball Creative session I used different techniques: soft focus, camera movement, double exposure and double exposure with different focus. And I used both my cameras, the Fuji x100s with attached 23mm f2 lens (APS-C) and Nikon D600 with 17-35mm f2.8 zoom and 85mm f1.8 (full frame)
and for a change a bit of wide open spaces – in Tasmania seems already like a dream …

I’ve been to Hobart, Tasmania to visit the fabulous MONA – Museum of Old and Modern Art dug deep into the sandstone under an old Winery on the Derwent River in Hobart

entrances to buildings in Brisbane: centered and square. I had plenty of time to wait for the right moment to have people in the right spot.
2 pictures in (50?) shades of grey the top one intrigues me, because it is a seemingly boring picture of the sea that does convey the vast empty space between me and the horizon. the rock just holds the eye in the picture and lets you look into the distance without any distractions.
